Baby Boy Finney

My brother David and SIL Carylon are having a baby and are due mid April. They went to the the Dr's this morning and found out that there little guy is breech. We are praying that he will fall in line and turn around. I can't wait see them all. My brother said that they will be coming down in July. I have not seen my brother since his wedding in May of 2007. It feels like it has been forever.

Lots of Info...

Well there have been lots of things going on. Yesterday was our last Sunday at KUMC. It was hard for us all, but really hard on Jason. He has put so much into the ministry for the students. It was hard to go. We know that God has bigger and better plans, we just are not sure what they are right now.

Brooke got a new car seat and took her first ride in it last Sunday. She loves it. I can't believe how big she is getting.

Brooke has also been starting to stand with out holding on to anything. She was doing it right before I took this picture.
One of Brooke's favorite things to do is to walk behind her shopping cart she got for Christmas. She is becoming a little pro at this and goes so fast and is able to turn it around.
A good friend from church bought Brooke these red shoes, (thanks, Carla) so of course we had to go shopping and buy a dress to go with it. This is what Brooke was wearing for church on Sunday.
Oh yeah.... one more thing.... Here are two pictures of her teeth. The first one is not in focus, because she did not want to stay still, but you get the picture.

Last week at KUMC

Well it has been a crazy week. Jason came home from work on Monday to inform me that there were going to be changes made at work. The youth department would be changing the way it did things. I was thinking to myself OK this could be really good. Boy was I wrong. He then informed me that he had a conversation with the head pastor and was told that as the youth department goes through the changes the first thing to change is there is no longer going to be 2 full time youth director positions. Yep you guess it, Jason position was the one being cut. I guess in these times no ones job is safe. The good news and yes there is good news, is that we were told that Jason was NOT leaving due to his performance. He was told that he has great leadership skills and will do great leading his own ministry. Of course I already knew that but it was great to hear that from someone in a lead Pastoral position.

Jason is sad to go and leave all the students behind, but we both know that GOD has bigger and better things in our path. We don't know what that is just yet, but we will be in prayer as the next several weeks unfold. For those that don't know, our last sunday will next sunday, March 8th.

We ask that you pray for us as Jason is in search for a new youth position.
