New Rooms

So I spent the week with my MIL (Phyllis) painting Brooke and Emma's rooms. I think they turned out great. It was a lot of hard work, but well worth it. Brooke loves her new room and I can't wait for Emma to be here in Jan to see her new room.

All of the Flowers and Butterflies in both rooms were our own sketches. We looked off of both bedding sets to decide what designs we wanted to do.

Halloween 09

We had fun going trick or treating for the first time. Brooke got to dress up for both Preschool and again for halloween. Here are pictures of her before preschool.

Here are some of her and her New cousin HOPE.

Here are some of her going out Halloween night as DORA.

She didn't like the wig at first, but as the night went on she didn't seem to mind as much. I think maybe it was because she was so tired from all the walking she just did not care.

Pumpkin Patch

We took Brooke to the Pumpkin Patch today and had a good time. I find it harder and harder to get good pictures of her, because she just does not want to stay still. I guess I need to get used to it with a second one on the way.
I will post some more pictures soon, but I am having trouble with the website.

Baby Cagle # 2 has a name!

Here are pictures from our ultrsound on 8-24-09.
This one is of the face.
Saying Hi!

Two Precious Feet...
It is kinda hard to see with out zoom, but you can count all 10 toes. I love how they make the shape of a heart.

It's a GIRL!!!
That's right, Brooke is going to have a Little Sister.
Her name is
Emma Grace Cagle.
We can't wait to meet her. Right now she is a bit on the small side. I will go back for another ultrasound at the end of the month to see if how much she has grown and to look at some things that they could not tell before due to the fact she was small. We are just so happy that we are having another healthy baby girl. I hope that Brooke and Emma grow up to be best friends.

It's been to long

I can't believe that the summer is coming to an end. I start back to work on Monday :( and I don't want to leave Brooke. Things are going well. We have a new place and are trying to get unpacked. It just seems like it is going to take forever.
Brooke is doing great. Jason and I took her to the Dr yesterday or her 15mth check up. So at 15 1/2 mths she is 24lbs and 31inches. She just keeps growing and growing. She also has 12 teeth and the dr says she is cutting 2 right now and 2 more will be right behind them. Brooke is so hard to keep up with now a days. She just goes and goes. She loves having open space to run. Normally she is running from us, so we have to chase her down, but she is so happy. She can now go up and down stairs. She is really fast when going up, but still a little unsure about going down, but she can do it. There are days that I have a really hard time keeping up with her. If being pregnant doesn't make you tired enough, lets throw a 1 year old into the mix. We have developed a nice night time routine, now that Jason is working nights. I love so much spending that time with her and putting her to sleep.
Jason loves his jobs and is really happy with them. I knew that he would do a good job and enjoy them. I am glad that he is still able to do ministry work, even though it is not full time.
Well I am sure that is more than enough. I do want to say Congrats to my Friends Cassie and Jason on the birth on there 3rd son. He was born yesterday and is doing great.
The pictures of Brooke's are from first trip to the Childrens Museum in June.

Out of town...

So Jason, Brooke and I have been out of town for sometime and It has been crazy. Last week I was lucky enough to volunteer at a camp for teens with epilepsy. The camp was called Kamp Kaleidoscope. The staff I had the chance to work with were just awesome as well as the campers. It was so fun to see each teenage just so full of life. Some of these teens do not get the chance to go to camp anywhere else due to there epilepsy, but here they are able to just open up and be who they are inside and not just that kid with seizures. Some of the teens had never meet anyone else who has seizures until they come to camp. Then are lucky enough to stay friends a really long time. I thought this was a great oppurtunity for myself. Since I started having seizures at the age of 15. It was nice to be able to tell them I know what it is like to be a teenager going through this and to not know anyone else who really understands what it is like.
I think that I learned as much if not more than the campers did. I always thought that no one else could really understand what it was like to go through seizures unless you had had one before. I think that my views were changed on that. Some of the staff had seizures and some did not. After talking with some of them that did not, they really did understand how this could really change your life. The campers and the other staff really changed mine this week. I can't wait until next year and I am looking forward to helping out the Epilepsy Foundation as much as I can.

I hope that this does not ramble to much or is not to hard to follow.... it is hard to write, think and chase after a 15month old. ;-)

Here is a picture of some of the staff!

Baby #2

Here is baby #2 at 11weeks 4 days, but measuring 12weeks. Why do I have a feeling that this is going to be another big baby? He/She was really active the whole time. It was so fun to watch. Brooke never really moved around this much. Baby #2 was bouncing, kicking and waving the whole time. Heart rate was 160 bpm. Jason and I are so excited only 8 more weeks to find out the gender of this little monkey.

Summer

So I thought I would have so much time to blog this summer. I was wrong. Brooke keeps me busy. She is growing so fast. She has cut more teeth. She has 11 now. She is all over the place and loves to run aroung the house. I can't believe how fast she is. I need to post some new picutes, but I will have to get them off my camera first. I am heading to the Dr today to see baby #2. So far everything is going good. I have had more morning sickness this time around, but nothing to bad. I will give everyone an update after my dr visit.

Ryder

I just heard from my Friend. It took the dr's a long time, but they now know that the reason that Ryder was so sick was that he had meningitis. The sad thing is that they found out to late. They did test and found that Ryder is brain dead. Right now they are keeping him alive to donate his organs. Praise God that they have found a recipient for his Heart. Keep praying for his family and that they will be able to find some more recipients, so other children can get better.

UPDATE: Ryder has gone to be with Jesus. The Funeral will be on Monday. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Our Little Monkey!

I had a Dr apt today and Jason and I got to see our little one for the first time. It was so cool to see the heart beat. It made me think about when I saw Brooke's heartbeat for the first time. We did get a picture and I will post that as soon as I get it scanned in.

The end is near...

Well right now Jason and I are packing up all of our stuff and let me tell you it is no fun. Our lease is up at the end of this month so it is crunch time. Jason has done a great job of getting everything done. He has done most of it by himself, while I am wrapping up the school year. That's right!!! Only 2 more full days left and then 6 half days with students. Everyone, teachers and students are counting down the days. Summer is almost here.

8 teeth

Brooke has had 4 more teeth come in this week. It has been really hard on her. She nows has 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. She is also starting to walk so fast. She is so cute when you try to catch her. She laughs so hard and thinks it is a game. It is too cute. I will update some more soon.

1 year update!

We took Brooke to the dr yesterday. We saw a new dr in the practice, Dr. Smoot. We loved her. She was so kind and took her time with us. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions. She said that Brooke is doing great. She is 22lbs 5.5oz (75%) and 29 1/4inches long (50%). Today we are starting her on whole milk and got the ok to feed her pretty much anything as long as it is in small pieces. We are so happy to know that she is doing well.

Happy Birthday Brooke

Our Beauitful Baby Girl,

I can't even begin to express how you have changed our lives forever. You are the most wonderdful little gift that God has ever given us. One year ago today you came into this world weighing in 8lbs, 10oz and measured in at 20 inches long.I will never forget the first time I held you in my arms. It was a moment that I had waited for for such a long time. Your daddy was lucky enough to change you first diaper, even though he needed a few pointers. He did get better each time. We fell more in love with you ever second that you we here. We knew that God had given us a true blessing.
Before we knew it time was flying by. You started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks and it was such a blessing. You moved into your own room and crib and we all sleept better after that. You learned to roll over, play with your toys, crawl and now walk. Now here you are turning 1 and you are the sweetest, loving, most beautiful, baby girl I know. God created you with his hands and we sit in amazment as we watch you grow into the world around you. People tell me all the time how precious and beauitful you are and I can't wait to watch you grow into an amazing young woman.
Happy 1st Birthday!!
