We would like to thank you for taking the time to vist our blog. This is our way to share what is happening with the three of us to all of you.

Lets start with some background info:

ABOUT SHARI

Shari is a teacher in Humble ISD teaching High school special education. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Photography and minor in Art. She also has received her teaching certificate from Region 4. When she is not teaching, Shari can be found playing with Brooke and spending all her time with Jason. In her spare time, she can be found behind her camera taking various pictures.

ABOUT JASON

Jason is a youth minister in the Kingwood area. Raised in Katy, Texas, he was licensed into the ministry at First Baptist Church of Katy. In addition to teaching bible studies to his students and planning summer events, he can be found on occasion preaching a Sunday Sermon. Jason loves to spend time with his wife, playing with Brooke and of course playing video games and also sleeping.

HOW WE MET

Back in 2005, Jason needed extra sponsors to go to his camp with his students. A former member of the church had two friends that could attend, one of which was Shari. After the camp, the two met together for coffee and later lunch. Shari invited Jason to her dad's wedding and they shared their first kiss on a bridge overlooking a small pond under the full moon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Jason arrived at Shari's place at 5:30 am to wake her up and take her out for breakfast. After she got ready, they headed out to Bear Creek Park for a picnic breakfast with kolaches, strawberries and a fruit trey complete with Orange Juice and Milk in champagne flutes. They ate as they watch the sun rise. After a slow dance, Jason dropped to one knee and asked Shari to be his wife. (And of course she said YES!!!)

ABOUT BROOKE

Brooke Madison was born on April, 25 2008 @ 1:21pm. She was 8lbs, 10 oz and 20 inches long. She is so precious and more perfect than we could of imagined. She is our gift from god.
