It's been a while... Today Brooke is 5 months old and I just can't believe it sometimes. I look at her and feel so blessed everyday and it feels just like yesterday that I held her for the first time. She is doing so much. She of course is "talking" or "cooing" all the time. She loves her feet and to suck on her toes. I can't lay her down without her rolling from one side of the living room to the other. I really need to get on the ball with the baby proofing. We can put her on her stomach and she will scoot across the floor towards us. This started one night when Jason laid her on the end of the bed and she move all the way to me at the top of the bed. I could not believe my eyes. Cindy got her a walker and it is so funny to watch her in it. She can only go backwards, but she loves it.
At her "4 month" apt which was at 4 1/2 months she was 24.5 inches long and 14lbs 9 oz. She is in the 50% for both her height and weight. She is doing great.
We made it through Hurricane Ike just fine. Brooke did not even notice. She sleep through the whole thing. Even the big tree branch hitting our back porch at 3:30am, which woke us up. We were lucky that besides that and our fence falling down there we had no other damage. We did not have any power for 11days here at the house, so we went to my dads.
Here are some pictures from today there will be more to come.
