Latest Stats
Yesterday I took Sarah in for a follow up apt on her reflux. She is doing much better with the reflux but we have to weigh her in so the medication can be adj with her weight. She is now 10lbs 10oz still in the 25%. She has out grown almost all of her newborn clothes so we have moved on to 0-3mths. She will be in these for a while since most of them swallow her. I also think she will be in size 1 diapers for a long time as well, since she is no where near out growing them.
Morning at the Park
Last Friday the weather here was great. It was in the upper 70's lower 80's when we got up so we headed to the park. The girls had a blast and even Jason got in on some of the fun.
I love this shot of Emma
Emma was not to sure about the slide
But at the bottom she ended up with a HUGE SMILE on her face.
Of course Brooke loved it too.
Emma always love to swing
Brooke climbing up all by her self. She is getting so big.
And down she goes.
Emma thought this was neat.
Running to keep up with her sister as always
Glad we had such a wonderful time as a family.
Hanging out
Sarah was hanging out on her playmat and blanket so I decided to take some pictures. Guess who had to get in them to....

Updates
So I forgot to mention that Sarah's Upper GI came back all good. It did show reflux, but there are not other issue with her. Praise God.
Also Emma went in for a hear test. I noticed that she doesn't seem to hear/respond to me all the time. I also noticed that she hasn't been picking up any new words in the past few months. Her test came back good for now. They will have her go back again at the end of the year to try and do side specific testing. Right now she is to young to do it.
Of course since we had the test done (two weeks ago) she has learn to say about 5 more words. Her Dr, thinks that Brooke may be doing a lot of the taking for her. I would not be suprised if that was the case.
First Dance Class
I have been wanting to get Brooke into a dance class or a gymnastics class of some kind. I feel she really needs the time to spend with other kiddos her age. I found a dance school right next to her dr and thought we would give it a try. She has only had one class, but she loves it. I can't wait to see her progress as class goes on. Here are some pictures from her first day. Not all of the are the best. I had to take them through a tinted glass that had super glare issues.

Sarah's 2 month stats
So I took Sarah to the dr on Monday for her 2 mth apt. She is doing much better with her reflux. Praise God. She is now 9lbs 13.5oz 22inches long. 25%for both. Dr did notice that she was still showing signs of torticollis so she will start PT next week. Emma had the same thing so I am not to worried.

We were playing and I put Sarah in Brooke's Baby doll cradle.

It was a Tuesday
Following a fellow blogger:
Sept 11, 2001 was a Tuesday.
I was in my second year of college at Sam Houston State University. I woke up like any other day and headed out to my first class of the Day (Eng). During class no one had any idea what the day was going to bring. After class I walked across campus to my second class (Geo) and it was then I knew something was up. Everyone was whispering back and forth. My prof came and as announced that both of the WTC towers had been hit by planes, but we would still be having class. An hr and half later class was out and at that point SHSU had canceled classes for the rest of the day. That is when I had a chance to really find out what had happened. I stopped by the BSM and people were huddled around a radio. I stayed for about 5-10mins and went to my dorm to watch the news. This is something I will never forget.

We are still waiting on the results to come in. I was told it could take 24hrs. But for now here are some pictures of my baby girl.

New Stats
Sarah is now almost 6 weeks old. At her one month apt she weighed in at 8lbs 9oz and 23in. I also took Emma in for her 18 month apt this week. She is really 19.5 months old, but with having Sarah, her apt got pushed back. Emma is now 26lbs and some where around 33inchs. She was hard to measure because she wouldn't stay still.

New Family Photos

The difference Photoshop makes between the one above and below.
I changed Brooke's face to make her smile and Sarah's face so she wasn't crying. Not to bad for only a 5min job.
As you can tell from the blog topper we went and had new family photos done. Over all I am real happy with them. Really with three girls 3 and under I can't ask for much, so my goal was to get at least one good one of the family, each girl and the three of them together. I am not over the moon about the one with the three of them together, but that is what photoshop is for. Here are some of my favs.

3 week check in
I meant to get on Last week and post Sarah's 2 week stats, but the three girls have been keeping me busy. So last week was her two week check up and she was 7lbs 5oz's and 19.5inches long. I had to take her in again on Monday which was exactly 3 weeks. She was 8lbs with clothes on. She has been doing great, but showing signs of Acid reflux. Seems to happen with my kiddos. Both Brooke and Emma had Acid reflux. We started her on Meds on Monday evening and are still waiting to see if if helps or not. Update to come later.

We Welcomed Baby #3
On Monday July 11, 2011 we were blessed to welcome Sarah Ann Cagle into the world at 3:44pm. She weighed 7lbs 1 oz and was 19.25 inches long. She scored 9 on both of her apgar tests. I delievered her at North Austin Medical Center which is where I also delivered Emma. The hospital has been great. On Monday I arrived at 12:30pm and was given a bed in pre-op. They put me on monitors to check out Sarah's heartbeat and everything looked good. So they started my IV. One nurse tried with no luck and with me in a bunch of pain so another nurse took a try. Again no luck. From there they called in a anesthesiologist to get it started. She was great. It didn't even hurt. Just before I was taken back to the Operating Room my dad and Jason's dad showed up. It was nice to see them as I went back.
I was taken to OR #3, but before I went in Jason and I said a little prayer. Jason had to wait in the hall while the nurses and anesthesiologist got me all ready. They had me preped for a spinal which was not fun. It took about 5-6 different sticks to get the numbing medicine. Once they did a nurse put up the drape and let Jason come in. Then Dr. Loar began. Jason was super excited to see the first cut. He missed it with Emma. They let Jason take pictures through out the whole thing. Right as the Dr's reached in to pull Sarah out, Jason got some great pictures, but since they are not for the week at heart I will not be posting them. I still remember her first cry and I do believe that is something as a mom you never forget with any of your kids.
They took Sarah off to the side of the room to clean her, weigh her, and everything else they needed to do. Right as the Dr was closing me up Jason went with Sarah to the nursery where our family was waiting. I was taken to post-op where everything went great. I was only back there for an hour and was then taken to my room. Sarah was brought to my room with in minutes. I love the moment where Brooke and Emma came in and saw her up close for the first time. Brooke was excited to see her through the nursery window but now she was able to touch her. They only stayed for a few minutes since it was close to there bed time and I was beginning to feel the pain.
This week has gone well. Sarah and I have learned to breastfeed together and now that I am beginning to heal everything is much more fun.
Today we get to head home and I can't wait to see Brooke and Emma react to Sarah coming home.

Fathers Day
Well today hasn't been much of a great father's day for Jason. We got up and went to church, but after only about 10 mins I was called to get Brooke. She wasn't feeling well and the staff took her temp and said it was above 100. So she went to worship with Jason and I. She spent the entire time sleeping on Jason's chest. We came home and took her temp it was 102.5. So she took and nap and still has a temp as well as she says her head hurts. Poor baby. I hope she feels better soon.
